Sesame Place Amusement Park

Sesame Place Amusement Park in Langhorne, Pennsylvania has 11 dry rides plus a clubhouse and play areas as well as 9 wet rides. The park is fairly small, so it’s possible to see everything in one day, assuming the lines aren’t too long.

Since Sesame Place is designed with little ones in mind, most of the rides are gentle enough for toddlers. However, there are a few rides that will please older kids as well.  We’ve listed all the rides below and put asterisks next to the rides your children won’t want to to miss.

Sesame Place Amusement Park Must See Attractions

Rides suitable for kids under 36 inches tall:

**Captain Cookie’s High “C’s” Adventure – Enjoy the rolling waves of the ocean
**Oscar’s Rotten Rusty Rockets – Blast off on a monstrous space mission
**Sunny Day Carousel – Fun merry-go-round for the family
**Monster Mix-up – Everyones favorite teacup ride
Flying Cookie Jars – Spin around in a giant cookie jar 40 feet above the ground
Flyin’ Fish – Ride an Elmo fish as it swims its way up and down through an imaginary ocean
Peek-A-Bug – Spin and slide from side to side on the back of a beaming bug in the garden

Rides suitable for older kids over 36 inches tall:

Water rides to cool off during the summer:

**Sky Splash – Six riders together in a large raft as you glide under oversized toys such as an 8-foot Rubber Duckie
**Big Bird’s Rambling River – Float in an inner tube along a 1,000-foot waterway through Sesame Island
**The Count’s Splash Castle – A multi-level interactive water-play attraction
**Sesame Streak – Single or double riders are carried down two twisting chutes, ending their ride in a splash pool
Slimey’s Chutes – Double slide inner tube ride
Slippery Slope – Shoot down one of four sky-high slides full speed into a splash pool
Bert & Ernie’s Slip & Slide – Two intertwining body flumes that twist and turn their way down, shooting you out into a splash pool grand finale
Ernie’s Waterworks – Ernie’s Waterworks in an interactive water adventure
Teeny Tiny Tidal Wave – 10,000-square-foot wave pool

Save time by purchasing a Abby’s Magic Queue in advance

All the attractions at Sesame Place Amusement Park will have kids young and old begging to ride over and over again.  Plan to spend the day letting kids pick their favorite dry and wet rides.  Blast off with Oscar on Oscar’s Rotten Rusty Rockets, ride the mini roller coaster with Grover on the Vapor Trail or relax in a tube as you float along Big Bird’s Rambling River.  There is something for everyone at Sesame Place!
