One of my favorite days of the year.  A day dedicated to celebrating being a mom.  If you’re looking for some gift inspiration, take a look at these best Mother’s Day gifts picked specifically for travelers.  Some gifts are practical and some are just for fun.  All will be perfect for the travel loving mom.

If you’re a mom, what gifts would you like to receive?

10 Best Mother’s Day Gifts for Travelers

While I don’t travel with a lot of jewelry, a jewelry bag does come in handy. It’s nice to be able to swap out a necklace during a trip or just to have somewhere to stash my jewelry at night instead of leaving it laying on the hotel side table with all the kids stuff. Anther option to the one pictured above is this fun Polka Dot jewelry bag.

Give mom the practical gift of luggage tags. I want this Vintage Suitcase Luggage Tag. It will look so cute on my suitcase.

No wardrobe is complete without a couple cute Travel Tees.  There are a bunch of styles available – perfect for any travel lovin’ Mom.

How about a World Map Travel Mug for all those busy work or travel days?  It ensures long lasting temperature and is made to order.

Record all your memories in this Travel Journal. You’ll even find quotations about travel throughout.

Color the world’s 100 greatest places and relax with the Lonely Planet Ultimate Travel Coloring Book. This book is guaranteed to exercise your creativity, focus your mind and inspire your inner traveller.

Keep toiletries organized with the eBags Pack-it-Flat Toiletry Kit. This one has a removable hanging hook and lined area for damp items.

Every time you cork that bottle, you’ll use a beautiful metal compass with the Kate Aspen “Our Adventure Begins” Bottle Stopper.  A nice bottle from mom’s favorite wine region would also be great to pair with this gift.

While it might not seem like a great Mother’s Day gift, Bose wireless headphones would make a great gift. K got these for Christmas and I stole them ALL the time. That is until I got my own for Mother’s Day!

Earbuds kill my ears and these headphones are like puffy little clouds.  The sound is great and they are noise reducing. While you may prefer the noise cancelling headphones, I like to just barely be able to hear the kiddos in the background.

There are so many gift ideas out there to help make mom feel special.  If you’re short on cash, make a card using inspiration from one of the places you’ve visited together.  Or gather up post cards and create a collage.   Another idea is to skip gifts completely and put money away for another vacation or weekend getaway.  Whatever route you take, just telling mom you care and appreciate her will put a smile on her face.

Do you have suggestions for more of the best Mother’s Day gifts for travelers?
