Do you have a list of places you want you visit? I’ve always just kept a list in my head, but remembering all the places you read about can be tricky – especially when it’s a LONG list.
I decided to start keeping a travel bucket list and figured here on the blog was the best place for it!
Places I want to visit:
- Every state in the US – yep EVERY one. Even if we only spend a few hours exploring, and I’m not counting just driving through.
- Alaska – it’s part of the US but I’m separating it
- Hawaii – again separating
- Kauai
- Oʻahu
- Canada – Eastern, Central and Western
- Brazil
- Costa Rica
- Panama (cruise through Panama Canal)
- Australia
- Bali
- Fiji
- Tahiti
- Turks and Caicos Islands
- South Africa
- Egypt
- Japan
- India
- Turkey
- Russia
- Saint Petersburg
- United Kingdom
- Spain
- Sweden
- Scotland
- Brussels
- Ireland
- Italy
- France
- Jersey, Channel Islands
- Germany
- Poland
- Switzerland
- Romania
- Greece
Obviously this is a LOT of places. I have a lifetime to slowly make my way around the world and hopefully add even more places to my list.
So that brings up the question – Where have we traveled?
I’m not really sure the best way to do this. Traveled with the kids? Traveled with hubs? Traveled since I was a child?
Even though I could mark off several places on this list from when I was young, I think traveled as an adult should be where my list begins. AND even though hubs and I want to do most of our travels together with the kids, it is MY list. I’m also not including airports unless I actually left the airport to see the city.

Writing it all out is pretty cool! I’ve been to more places than I thought – and so have my kiddos.
